In today's computer world, the number of file formats is extremely huge and it's a great challenge having the appropriated application for opening each file. For example, you would need a text editor in order to open a text file and a media player, for opening video and audio files. Having a separate application for each type of file can take a lot of hard disk space and also a lot of time and effort. This is why it would be better to have a single application for any format. A program which can help you here is FileSee.

This simple Windows program acts like a file manager, allowing you to open and view almost any kind of file in its interface. The installation process of this Windows program takes little time to complete and requires only a few clicks for this. After installing and running the application, the user will notice that the interface resembles the one of Windows Explorer. Thus, he will be able to run the program from the start, without consulting the help manual first.

One just needs to browse to the desired file in order to view it. When clicking on that certain file, it will be automatically opened in the program's interface, in a special window. For example, images will be previewed in the interface and music files will be played using the built-in player. Optionally, one can create playlists directly from the interface.

FileSee includes a set of extra tools, like an audio converter, which can turn WAV files into MP3 and a filename manager, which can rename numerous files at the same time, using various renaming rules. For making it easier to navigate to the same folder over and over again, the user can access the favorite feature of FileSee, which can add any folder to a favorite list, from where it can be easily accessed.

Pros

It supports a wide range of file formats for viewing and playing directly in the interface. Besides that, the interface resembles the one of Windows Explorer, being very simple to use. Furthermore, the user can convert WAV files into MP3 and can rename a whole bunch of files automatically, using renaming rules. Pros: Certain file types require having an external decoder or plugin in order to be correctly viewed in the program's interface. FileSee allows you to view and play a wide range of file formats, directly in the program's interface, in the easiest way possible.
